Returns, Refunds & Consumer Guarantees

At The Crafter’s Stop, we are committed to complying with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This policy outlines your rights and our obligations in relation to returns, refunds, and replacements.

🛍️ Change of Mind Returns
We offer a 30-day return period for change-of-mind purchases. To be eligible:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, in original condition, with tags attached and in original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or order confirmation) must be provided.

Please contact us at info@thecraftersstop.com.au to initiate a return. If approved, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

Please note: Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

📦 Out-of-Stock Items
While we strive to maintain accurate inventory, occasional discrepancies may occur. If an item is unavailable:

  • We will offer a replacement of similar style and value, or
  • If no suitable replacement is available, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

🔧 Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a remedy if a product:

  • Is faulty or defective;
  • Is not as described or does not match the sample or demonstration model;
  • Is not fit for its intended purpose;
  • Was incorrectly supplied.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please notify us immediately at info@thecraftersstop.com.au with supporting photos or documentation. We will assess the issue and offer a suitable remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.

🚫 Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return unless they fail to meet consumer guarantees:

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers, plants)
  • Custom or personalised items
  • Personal care products (e.g. beauty items)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
  • Sale items and gift cards

🔄 Exchanges
To exchange an item, please follow the return process above. Once your return is approved, you may place a new order for the desired item.

💳 Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to complete the transaction.
